Luke Bettis Band//Smashmouth Review

Last night, I went to a Smashmouth concert with Maddi & Stevie, and it was awesome and all - but their opening act was amazing. It also doesn't hurt that Maddi, Stevie, and I were enjoying the show with this gorgeous guy, Brandon, that we met while waiting in line for signatures.
I swear to you that in a year or so, Luke Bettis Band will be HUGE. Their music is really catchy and the lyrics, insightful and soft. I really liked the fact that they had a local band open the show. All of the shows that I have been to at the Orpheum have had the coolest opening acts, such as The Ditty Bops and Missy Higgins.
I was really kind of surprised by Smashmouth, since the only time I had every really heard them was when I was younger and they were in random movies. They were so energetic and full of life. It was really fun to watch them; for their encore they played "Shout at the Devil."
Overall, I really had fun at the concert, and I am looking forward to going to some more Luke Bettis Band shows.
